There is no international law that supersedes national law and that includes the ECHR insanities unless you choose to let it.

@johnkitching2248 Exactly. Why??? Because these extreme left headbangers choose to let it. In the history of treaties there has never been a treaty that does not include the facility for a signatory to renege his agreement if the treaty becomes detrimental to that nations security and quality of life. The Vienna Treaty on Treaties covers this in clause 60 to 64.

@johnkitching2248 nternational treaties have mostly failed to produce their intended effects except for international trade and financial laws and treaties with enforcement mechanisms. These results are unexpected because they challenge conventional wisdom about treaties, which are widely considered as the apex mechanism for countries to make commitments to each other. Not only do our findings question the usefulness of the more than 250,000 existing treaties that have been negotiated to date but they should directly inform how national governments and international institutions facilitate global cooperation on the myriad challenges we face and how future international treaties can be better designed for greater impact. Past this in and read the full article.

@johnkitching2248 The treaty of Versailles which spawned Nazism and Hitler. The Trail of Tears Treaty which some people call the “American Genocide.” There are many more.

@johnkitching2248 Article 60: Termination or suspension of the operation of a treaty as a consequence of its breach Article 61: Supervening impossibility of performance Article 62: Fundamental change of circumstances Article 63: Severance of diplomatic or consular relations Article 64: Emergence of a new peremptory norm of general international law (jus cogens) Ignorance does not excuse bad manners. Get a life.

There is nothing left of the plan for government this mob of charlatans foisted on us the moment they got into Downing St. Maybe the winter fuel theft but that is surely under review. Its like the election result was yesterday. They're starting from scratch. Here's a prediction. They will backtrack on 95% of the half witted proposals they pulled out of their arses immediatly on gaining office. The new mess will be no more popular than this current . A cabinet reshuffle. then more of the same until another GE is called.
