  1. I believe the last survey said about 70% Japanese populace disapproved of the Olympics. But many are also saying that with all the speed bumps and scandals surrounding the Olympics and planning, cancelling it would mean all of it was for nothing, in short a lot of people also think Japan is way too invested to not proceed.
