Because their doctrine strictly prohibits harming anyone that is not causing harm to them, and encourages hospitality and generosity to guests and outsiders - to set a good example and show them the way. Their doctrine does not encourage any form of violence unless there is already a war or self defense situation, maybe you should try reading it.
