  3.  @jonson856  Western hypocrisy may or may not be the primary factor but it definitely plays a major part in it. The invasion of Iraq was also executed though a massive and blatant lie and conspiracies among the major Imperial powers, and over a million civilians were killed in the process. Libya was also invaded for the same reason and Venezuela was sanctioned for the same reason - refusing to be extorted for the Petrodollar racket. Those Imperial countries cannot resist toppling and striking down nations who can stand strong on their own without depending on them. The Georgian war was a direct result of the Iraq invasion and escaping of accountability for it, which is now widely known thanks to our friend, Julian Assange who mind you, is now being detained and tortured without trial despite NOT committing any actual crime. The Chechen war which preceded it was not justified by any means, and I don't agree with it yet Russia is not the one who has planted over a thousand military bases all over the face of the Earth. That, my friend, is a true representation of the thirst for world domination. Russia never wanted to be surrounded by it's enemies. Who does ? Is it not absolutely absurd that Cuba being under Soviet influence and being a base for THEM was unacceptable to us, to the point we kept trying to assasinate Castro and destroy their country - yet it's somehow wrong for Russia to act the SAME way about Ukraine ? Both were nearby countries that aligned with the opposition and presented a massive threat to the national security of the superpowers, respectively. If that's not an example of pure hypocrisy then please explain how so. And let's not even get started on the stats because we have so many complaints about Russia bringing back Cold War nuclear rhetoric but they are not the ones who actually used them on civilians before. Nor did they topple entire governments all over South America to cater to their interests like we did. Nor did they try to extort most of the world like we did (petrodollar extortion racket) - but they ARE doing it with grain and oil. We talk about NK like it's this big bully and we have to protect SK and Japan but let's not forget WHY they were unable to unify at the tail end of WW2 - it was the U.S that DENIED the offer (by the Soviets) for them to reunite with their own sovereignty without the role of any outside superpowers. Vietnam was also nearly destroyed, and countless others. Please catch up on the facts instead of feeding into your laughable mass media structure.
