that’s gotta be way more than covert narc. wow. that’s a really angry hurt impulsive terrible person sorry. it can be common. i been through it too in some version of this but haven’t seen my son now for yrs. it’s been quite traumatic and he’s been emotionally crippled / abused / manipulated. she wint let him grow and he’s now 21.

how does one test for this ruling out all the variables of shitty human disorder. i mean how are there so many ppl on here acting like some authority on this. it’s nuts. are they narcs too? it’s not in the dsm yet as that “evolves” super slow but ppl showing symptoms of “diy psychology experts on TY disorder for petty cash and attention” syndrome is plum wild gross and rampant.

this just sounds like men who text women during dating? being married this wouldn’t apply bc of obvious reasons. so this is flawed sorry. not in the dsm, is still shitty but this is just humans. non narcs can be shitty ppl too. education systems fail us on how to be better ppl. YT doesn’t really help either w this. diagnosis culture is still negative and not helpful. ppl are not powerless over behavior we just need support systems.

how to recover when they take your child and move out of state, then later do it again, no warning, as they reach adulthood, manipulating them and you (me the father), sabotaging the relationship and emotionally abusing a really amazing young person. if only narcissism was the reason. sure of course it’s fitting when you’ve been deeply screwed over. looking at narc for helping piece things together seems like a desperate ploy for answers. we need help to grasp how this could happen. but it’s oversimplification of character with added confirmation bias i feel like. so no…it’s just that humans are terrible complex beings oft the time. some dsm disorder can’t really save it as reason. it almost justifies things really. it doesn’t go anywhere. there’s no narc laws and we treat it like they’re powerless over their behavior. manipulation is abuse. there is only therapy. and even then. i’ll never know if i’ll see my son again. just be very very careful w who u deal with/ get involved with/ marry etc. there’s some really messed up ppl and they aren’t honest w themselves. it’s super common.
