  1. R.I.P. Jimmy Carter.. The only Navy Nuclear Power School graduate and Submarine Veteran to become president. I recommend a book titled, RICKOVER, CONTROVERY and GENIUS, by Polmar and Allen. It has a great section about HGR interviewing Jimmy Carter to see if he was intellectually worthy enough to be allowed to attend Rickover's Nuclear Submarine officers training program.
