  1. Gret posting @jetjock.. I concur.. I retired from the Army the fall of 96. Then, I later retired as an Army civilian employee at a major western training facility in 2017. I'm convinced that all the military academies are liberal arts institutions with just a sprinkling of military training tossed in. During my almost 16 years interacting with RA officers, the lack of a warrior mentally at the O-5 and above level was stunning. The standard MO was CYA and stay risk adverse.

  2. @shanetyler9391  The Idaho Guard is good. I did a month TDY to Gowan Field training area in 85 doing M60A3TTS new equipment training and gunnery. Nice post!!!
