@marksimons2759 Wtf are you on about. The British never lost their sovereignty whilst the UK was in the EU. The EU was only about trade, goods and services and the free movement of people. It had nothing to do with taking away countries' sovereignty.

@phantomhorse8255 it's a question of Britain accepting that what it did in the past was wrong and people/nations should be compensated.

@BlyatimirPootin yes, as an example, when there are overcrowded trains in France they put on extra carriages. However in the UK they just pack people in like sardines because people are treated as third class citizens.

At least William is admitting that British involvement in slavery was abhorrent. It'll be good if Jamaica goes for Independence in a few years time. It's laughable that black Jamaicans have a white head of state!! It's about time we had a black head of state in UK!!!

@deidremulroe2461 You conveniently forget that black people have always been denigrated by whites even within a white society. Have you been stripped search lately for marijuana by a black Police officer? Have you ever been discriminated against by a black person? I've never heard of any white person being discriminated against by a black person!!! Another point is that the Barbary slave trade might not have happened had the white Europeans not taken Africans for slaves!! Did your descendants have a black African servant or were they white?

@CarriUSA Quote - More compensation, are you kidding!? Blacks have more privilege, priority, programs, support, supplementation, rights, and preference than any other race is allowed. How do you work that one out? People whether black, chinese, indian, pakistani etc have the same rights as any white person. The age of the white privilege is over!!! You conveniently forget that throughout history blacks have been treated appallingly and continue to be treated appallingly so reparations should be made. Btw, are you black or white?

@VABee59 Now would those two black women at work have victimised you had they not been victims of discrimination? Errrrr I don't think so!!! If one has a grudge against a certain person or group of people it's because the person with the grudge has been harmed by that certain person or a member of a group of people!!! You should realise you live in a society where people generally take their ill feelings out on vulnerable people because they can;t take their ill feelings out on the people who gave the ill feeling to them. People don't get a proper education about the very society and the people they'll grow up to live and work with!!

@karyn27 Not at all, I dislike other people who think they are better than me and those who have to rule over me when in fact they are equal in every sense and I can rule over myself quite happily!!!
