  1. MP's are members of an institutition which is why the HoC does not have in place policies for dealing with this klind of behaviour. Most people would get the sack in the workplace but as MP's are classified as 'members' and not employees they don't get the sack for doing things most people would get the sack for.

  3.  @hazelnut975  MP's are members of a palace owned by Queen LIz and so have royal protection. It's also the reason why they can drink alcohol directly after a meeting and then go into another meeting smelling of alcohol. In 1983 Claire Short MP, during a sessioon in Parliament implied Alan Clark was drunk at the dispatch box!!! Where did he get the drinks from? From the numerous bars in Westminster!!
