We've never owned anything anyway. There's no such thing as ownership. Nobody owns anything unless you've actually created something, like written a book. All property in UK is owned by the Crown estate so the people who live in the properties just have the 'licence' to live there. You can't make changes to the property without the Crown's permission, sought via local authority planning applications. Ownership has always been an illusion!!

@danielcuddihy4273 The ECB has kept interest rates in negative territory since 2014 and has not raised them in more than a decade, but a surge in inflation is now making an increase in the minus 0.5% deposit rate increasingly topical. A negative interest rate means the borrower will pay back less than they borrowed and would help them pay their debts! What's the Bank of England's rate? You clearly dislike the EU and fail to look at the flaws in your own country! The UK economy is shrinking as each day passes!!!

We have over 1million employed in the NHS E&W and yet people continue to be sick and ill. Shouldn't people be educated about their health and happiness to reduce ill health and sickness? We have one of the best Police forces in the world and yet there is still crime. Aren't people educated about the causes of crime? Clearly not so what's going wrong? We have the best education system in the world and yet people don't have commonsense and allow other people make their decisions for them. We have the best policitical system in the world and yet we have a PM who consistently lies. We have the best Royal Family in the world and yet 3 out 4 of the Queen's children have been divorced. One had sex with underage girls and had a convicted pedo as a best pal. We have the best legal system in the world and yet people don't know the law and some people even abuse the law!! There's clearly something wrong with the majority of British people. I see so much pain and anguish on people's faces and yet nobody wants to do anything about it. The people in Britain make the country crap!!
