  6. there is no requirement for anyone claiming asylum to present documents to the authorities, you'll say anything to justify the people coming over in dinghies are illegal immigrants and shouldn't be here  @kenh3344

  8.  @gazevans1038  I'm only referring to asylum seekers - there are laws in place to deal with illegal immigration!! The boats keep coming that's a fact so could it not be the fact that these are genuine asylum seekers crossing the channel and none are illegal immigrants? I've never heard of anybody being deported because they have entered the country illegally! All I know is that boats are still crossing the channel and they'll keep crossing because the people in the boats (asylum seekers) have every lawful right to do so in order to enter the UK to claim asylum!!

I understand how you want things to be but your view is wrong! asylum seekers can claim asylum in any contracting state according to the 1951 UN Refugee Convention. The UK is a contracting state. Asylum seekers have every lawful and legal right to cross the channel to come to UK to claim asylum. They can even swim if they want to!! Nothing you can do about it!
