The rents will rise by more than the amount of inflation over the next ten years. I cannot see the problem with it. Millions of people would love to pay social housing rents but they can't, they pay twice, nearly as three times as much!!! Think yourselves lucky if you're in social housing!!

@adammorgan1776 your comment is convoluted - one minute you complain about social housing rent increases and on the same token you also moan about landlords creaming their tenants! Your gripe should be one or the other! My comment only relates to labour's proposed new social housing rent increase. It is another issue that the entire rental system is a scam where the only losers are the renters!! Imo nobody should be able to make money from the basic needs of people! But unfortunately that's how wealthy people are abl;e to remain wealthy - they receive rental income!

@adammorgan1776 it can be difficult conversing with English speakers when one is English! People can't get on with one another for some strange reason, if they did, they'd know what they are talking about! After all I can't understand why my comment is petty!
