  2. You should have weighed the sacrificial steel plate before and after to see whether it had lost or gained in weight! Additionally where did you source your water from? Tap? Distilled? What voltage did you use? One final thing at 05:28 the bubbles from all the objects in the tank look the same size which therefore indicates only one gas is being given off! From my experience I would say hydrogen is given off and very little oxygen simply because the bubbles are very small indeed. Oxygen bubbles are much bigger!
