  1.  @boulevard14  The 1951 Refugee Convention does not state explicitly how an asylum seeker must travel to the UK in order to claim asylum. An asylum seeker just has to be on the territory of the contracting state. Now if you want to argue that British waters do not constitute being UK territory then I seriously think you've lost the plot!!!
