  1. that's because the MP's from whatever political party all swear an oath of allegiance to the Monarch, not to the people. All representatives of councils, Police forces, armed forces etc all work for His Majesty's Government, not the people's Government. It's always been like this and always will, unless of course people just turn their backs on it all by not participating in it!! It's why I don't vote and never will!!
