An International Maritime Court found the Islands belonged to the Mauritius Govt, not the British. Cleverly signed the agreement to hand the Islands back before Labour got into Govt. Hopefully the British will pay reparations to the natives who were forcibly removed from their homes during the 60's and 70's and pay backdated rent for the use of the Islands and for the forthcoming 99 year lease 👍 And people wonder why Britain's foreign aid bill is so high 🤣🤣🤣

A colony isn't sovereign land especially if it is disputed territory. An International Maritime Court found the Islands belonged to Mauritius, not to the British but Silver Fox Takes and Nigel Farage won't talk about that!!!

@leeboss373 law is law and the UK has a duty to uphold the law and abide by the law - gone are the days of the British robbing, pilfering and plundering other lands! Or would you like to see Britain become a rogue state where it robs, pilfers and usurps other countries and governs their peoples, quashing dissent with discrimination, murder and victimisation??

I'm trying to work this one out, Farage and his pals don't like foreigners in the UK yet Farage wants an emergency debate in the HoC about the Brits handing back distant Islands to the people who the Brits forcibly removed during the 60's and 70's. British people are seriously messed up if they think it is ok for them to forcibly remove people from their Islands and adopt territory they think is theirs!! Even an International Maritime Court decided the Brits had no right to the Islands!!

King Charles abides and upholds the law and an International Maritime Court found the Islands belonged to Mauritius. Cleverly signed off the agreement to transfer the Islands before Labour got into Govt. Many things are out of Parliament's hands and this is something Farage and many other people just don't understand.

@addier44 From the information I've looked at, the UK took over the Islands, forced the natives off the Islands and invited the US to have an airbase there. The undisclosed money is back payments in rent and instalments for future rent covering the 99 year lease. The foreign aid budget imo is not really an aid budget, it's more of a reparationary budget. The way Britain treated India and its people and resources, we'll be paying India for many centuries to come 🤣🤣🤣
