Quote- I also appreciate the emphasis on being patient and kind in our interactions with others, regardless of whether they are human or not. It's a pity not everyone shared that same sentiment!!! Guess many people have evil quanta!!!!

@whitesapphire5865 point taken - but these documentaries cost loads of cash to make! Why move the sub anyway?

Question: Is Anybody Out There? Answer: No
1
@TheGeezzer ok I'll say it again with full assertion - NO! There is no life beyond earth! I'm fully aware of the power of the human imagination and the idea of aliens and life beyond Earth lies well within man's imagination that I do know!

The largest surviving World War railway howitzer made in Great Britain has NEVER been to Europe before this move and has NEVER been used. What great brains the British had to build such a large gun at the END of the War!!! At least the Germans used their Gustav 1000 ton rail gun against the Soviets.
1
@C20F well it does seem pretty stupid to build this huge gun and never use it doesn't it? Have you ever built something never to use it and did you still keep it???
1
@peterjardine8409 the narrator of the documentary would disagree with you - he states from 04:28 - 5 were built for use on the front, but by the time they were ready for action the fighting had stopped!! Waste of time and money - i guess that's the Brits to a tee!
1
They may as well just tossed a coin!!!
1
wow the cost of this operation and production must have been huge - they even employed a choir and orchestra!! such a waste of money!!
1
@whitesapphire5865 a hobby? or are psychotic? i think the latter!
1
totally agree!! also if people were educated more on the dangers at sea and were responsible, there'd be less need for search and rescue helicopters whether old or new.

@bulletproofguy5112 what's even more interesting is that Bristow Helicopters Ltd are contracted by HM Coastguard to deliver search and rescue services in the Shetland area. The company is part of the US based company Bristow group! There's no reason why service users cannot pay for the service via insurance! Or at least contribute towards the cost of running the service!
1
@martynneeson5668 quote - The local community constantly fundraises hundreds of thousands towards this service! the community is wasting their time and money - the service is already funded by HM Coastguard - the money is there for the service. They don't need more money! Recently I saw a guy outside tesco begging people to donate cash to air ambulance in the area. Why is air ambulance a charity? The service sould be paid for by NHS just like any other ambulance service! Do you guys over in shetland want to donate your money to me? I'll have it!! Another example of insanity!!

harnessing the power of what atoms? atoms only exist in the imagination!

@42:53 onwards - pass the hankies please!!!
1
can you do a video that shows water is made of hydrogen and oxygen please, tks.
1
it's laughable, they say that investing in better aircraft can improve their rescue operations yet the helicopter was transported in an aircraft nearly 40 years old. Furthermore if people were educated more on the dangers at sea and were responsible, there'd be less need for search and rescue helicopters whether old or new.
1
@martynneeson5668 clearly unaware how stupid and irresponsible people can be!!
