  1. I read that Churchill's policies exacerbated the Bengal Famine that killed nearly 2.1–3 million Indian natives. I also read that Churchill allowed the RMS Lusitania to travel through the Celtic Sea without any convoy knowing it would get destroyed by a German U Boat hoping the event would encourage the Americans to join in the war. So to me Churchill doesn't represent anything pleasant. He put the Empire first but that was a waste of time because we no longer have the Empire.
