Again, with every other discourse on YouTube, thanks for sharing your opinion. My opinion is that disenchantment with life comes as a result of bad experiences with other people. It is other people who make rules and legislation for us to abide by. In fact other people can make us or break us! People in this society simply don't care! With so many people filled with disenchantment then I think anybody is wasting their time defending a country filled with people who simply don't care about other people!

  4.    Hi cindy - I can understand your sentiments but I've never felt free in this country. For example, Councils always promote they give residents best value but the majority always put up Council tax! how messed up is that? Do you not think they ought to be attempting to reduce council tax as a long term goal? That's just 1 example but there's so much unfairness in this country, it's political system is crap, the education is crap too and the people of this country are ruled by an ARCHAIC system! We're living in 2019 not 1519! Think about what has changed in this society? We still have a potential future knig calling this country 'Blighty' of all things! Ever thought what Britain is blighted with? The people are miserable - go to your local bus station and try to find this thing you call 'hope' This country and the communities that are formed are an exclusive club and people like me feel excluded even though I was BORN HERE!. I don't vote simply because of the exclusivity of the club! Great Britain can be so much better and yet nobody doing anything to improve anything because people aren't being made aware exctly how much better it can be!

  7.    we're on completely different wavelengths cindy although we can BOTH agree that things can be sooo much better! The biggest problem is the system itself! The entire system needs overhauling! The only person who can do this and direct or order others is the head of the business - who at present is 92 yrs of age! So even after her being monarch for a good part of her life things haven't changed one bit! people are still the same living under the same royal charters that have governed legislation since Parliament began! Politcians in the main are not at fault as they work within a framework sanctioned by royal charter! The basic laws we live under are there simply because of royal charter. For some unknown reason people just fail to realise the extent to which the people of this country are under monarchial rule and how much the monarch dictates what we can and cannot do! How can things change and improve when the monarch won't change. Happiness and the quality of life is better all round for the people of this country rather than superficial bullshit standards of living!

  12.    i never said that you said people have plenty of reasons to be cheerful - i stated it because according to you the peopel's revolt have made peopel's lives better from then on! But the revolt was over money not the quality of their lives! I'm on a different wavelength than you it would seem. People still remain peasants as they act like animals and insane ones at that - go check out how demented people are at your local shopping centre to start with! Even wealthy people are demented too! So much for education system! Btw I was in my bank today and a sign read - helping you with your money. The money you have in your bank account is not YOUR money - The money is owned by the Crown and is produced under license by the Bank of England. The sign should read - helping our customers manage the money they're given! And on a final note I was in tesco today and the cashier agreed with me that the system needs changing not just the politicians!

Regardless, one is doing everything by doing nothing; by not voting, not participating, boycotting council run events etc. How do you think an MP would feel if nobody bothered with them and their political party? Even the Catholic Church has seen a marked reduction in ordained ministers over the years. People are losing interest in the people up top! Things will have to change because the people up top will get tired of it all! You need to learn wisdom - silence is a very powerful strategy that doesn't cost lives or bring out unnecessary ill-feeling!

  34. I see farage is standing to be re-elected - standing as an MEP for the very organisation he allegedly detests! So much alleged disdain for the European Union and a firm adherant of Britain's place not to be in it, that he will happily take from the EU around £85,000 a year! He's even European enough to have a German wife! I think Nige loves the EU! I mean what has Britain ever given to him? I'm so glad I don't vote and never have done and never will!

It is roughly on a par with a British MP's salary and that doesn't include allowances! The only time I will likely vote is when the person I vote for receives the same wage as me!

Come May elections, Farage will again stand to be MEP I'd imagine (although unconfirmed) - the guy who doesn't want to be in Europe but has been more than happy to have received nearly a million quid from them since 1999? The logic is insane! Just accept it Tony, it's a sh@t system and that's why I don't vote!!

The money in my bank account isn't MY money - the money is OWNED by the crown estate aka UK Plc. It's the business's money and the business determines how much we all get! In this respect, you could also ask who owns the Bank of England. Politics as a right arm of the business is a load of BS and I can't understand why people vote when it's always business as usual!

What you are stating is similar to stating that if you worked in a shop then the customers pay your wages. But in reality they don't as the employer has that responsibility and the money to pay your wages can come from somewhere else! Would you take the customers to court if your employer doesn't pay yur wages? have you signed a contract with your MP stating you'll contribute to their salaries? Did you agree to the recent £2,000 pay increase they were given? Absolutely not! You really need to get your head out of the clouds as just because you give back some of the money that is given to you doesn't mean that money lines the pockets of MPs!  Additionally I think you're a little confused as to who's government the british government belongs to? you do realise the government's official title is HM Government - it's not the People's Government of GB is it? The houses of parliament are also classified as a palace! They all belong or are owned by the Crown! The money the UK government spends is THEIR OWN MONEY! In this regard there's no such thing as taxpayer's money because taxpayer's don't own any of the money they use. Taxation merely creates jobs by clawing back the business's own money so people like you and I have very little of it to use!! So who pays the MPs? It's Her Majesty's Government

The Government is also referred to as HM Government which is associated with HM Forces, HM Prisons, HM Customs & Excise, The Land Registry Office is a Crown Estate owned business, your birth certificate is given to you by the Registrar General who's office is part of HM Passport Office etc etc. You do know what HM and The Crown f*cking means don't you?
