One can easily draw parallels between the Monarch of the UK and HIS Government and the President of China or Russia. The MP's in the House of Commons, the Lords MUST swear allegiance to the Monarch (not the people) and in Russia and China, legislators MUST swear an allegiance to the President. China maintains a people's democratic dictatorship and this is exactly what exists in UK and the US because both the UK and US will dictate the policies for the rest of the people whether the people like it or not. The UK has an unelected Head of State who acts as a President and can dictate what policies the Govt introduces. Legislators in Britain, US, Russia and China all vote, so in that sense democracy exists in Russia and China!! There's lots of anti-China and anti-Russian sentiment amongst western nations solely because Western countries want to dominate the world.
