@yazzamx6380 i'm trying to get my head around here! you're telling me that just b/c people haven't come up with a reliable fe map the earth can't be flat?? how is it possible a flat earther can come up with a reliable fe map when flat earthers 1. can't explore everywhere on the earth 2. live in societies dominated by globe earth ideology 3 haven't got the resources and funding to map the earth 4 would likely to be dissuaded from undertaking such a project by globies! i think the basis of your earth can't be flat view is pith poor but i guess it's the best you can do to uphold your globe ideology!! btw the globe earth is only a projection - usually the mercator projection. It's a model or representation that has yet to be proved to be actually true!

@MrEjwheeler oh sorry i have a different understanding of proof and evidence and consider them to be different. you see that's how people can get away with the globe earth fantasy and palm it off as being true in the real world - to change the meanings of words! It's a good strategy but it doesn't work! In my understanding proof supports facts and evidence supports ideas. Evidence can be any information that is true or false that supports an idea or proposition. Proof on the other hand is any piece of information that supports a statement or claim to be true, factual and incontrovertible! Pity science is evidence based wouldn't you say??
