  1. Brompton Bikes made in China because they can't be made cheaper anywhere else in the world, thus enabling Brompton to make profit. Hornby are another British company manufacturing in China for the sake of profit. There's plenty more UK businesses in China doing exactly the same thing.

  2. Brompton bikes could always be made in the USA. Then again if that happened Brompton wouldn't make that much profit as salaries are much more in the US than in China.
