  14.  @daryllportas8453  The Bill you refer to firmly established the principles of frequent parliaments, free elections and freedom of speech within Parliament – known today as Parliamentary Privilege. It had nothing to do with the relationship between the Crown and the people!!!

  16. You're conveniently forgetting two recent instances where cops used deadly force where their lives were not in danger. Would have been different if Brooks had a gun and threatened the officer. The problem with the police is they walk/drive around as if they own the place and can do what they want. But then again, in support of that, people are animals and a heavy handed policing approach is considered the best way to keep the beast at bay. Clearly the demos and rioting shows a heavy handed approach doesn't work. Even the Police aren't trained properly because there's other ways of dealing with people and in some cases they deal with people in the wrong way. Looks like the Americans are in a pickle!!

  17. That's right, The Ukrainian Rada has issued a bill to ban Russian from Ukrainian schools. It's clear the Ukrainians have no desire for peace considering many of its inhabitants are ethnically Russian.
