nuclear power is very good for the environment - great way to generate electricity! Clearly the spent fuel rods are the only major concern! Maybe somebody needs to come up with a use for them!!

I think the hydrogen hype is a load of rubbish because ALL fuels contain hydrogen. Without hydrogen there's no fuel at all!!! Hydrogen is contained in all man-made products like petrol, alcohols, metals, acids etc. Hydrogen doesn't come from water. Btw, I'm not referring to hydrogen being a gas but being the release of stored energy held under vacuum within all materials and substances.
3
still got to produce hydrogen! most hydrogen is produced from steam reforming natural gas!

@waynet8953 pity they cannot turn the radiation into another form of 'energy'! Just think of the law of conservation of energy!!
1
@kushalvora7682 well there u go - no problem of nuclear waste!
1
@kushalvora7682 how does the molten salt 'burn' the fuel?? i didn't realise uranium fuel rods were combustible!
1
@waynet8953 i'm sorry wayne i don't understand what you mean by the word burn when applied to nuclear fuels! molecular transformation - what do you mean?
1
@kushalvora7682 what is used to heat the salt?
1
@kushalvora7682 but what initially produced the heat to melt the salt in the first place?? if you wanted to heat water in a kettle you have to switch on the electricity and allow it to flow through the element! Molten salt in reactors are moderators and need to be heated to become molten to then transfer the heat away to turn water to steam! You're not thinking rationally!
1
@kushalvora7682 btw what fuel are you referring to?
1
@kushalvora7682 heat doesn't magically appear out of nothing - something has to happen to generate heat! so imagine the elysium nuclear reactor reaches high temperatuires. How is that achieved? if you're not in a position to know the answer then just say so because it would be clear you do not fully understand how nucleare reactors work!!
1
maybe humans should cut down on the amount of crap it manufactures in order to save 'energy'!!
1
@George Mann clearly humans are the problem then!!
1
@George Mann it's at this point i inform you i am a flat earther!
1
@888Longball yes that's probably because methane contains more impurities!

The truth about hydrogen? There's so many untruths about hydrogen in this video. One of them is hydrogen is produced from water. Imo hydrogen comes from the decomposition of whatever is placed in water e.g. electrodes and/or electrolyte.
