@alexgarland2747 Imo there are larger forces at work and no politician can 'fix' the country. For example, western economies are declining as most money, investment and manufacturing heads eastwards. The West has simply priced itself out of many sectors.

@janeslater8004 btw the pledge is so confusing - it states on one sentence that you lot believe in FREEDOM – the inalienable right of all people to freedom of thought, conscience and religion including freedom to change religion; to freedom of speech and freedom to hold and express views without interference and without fear. and yet you want all immigrant communities to embrace British culture and the society, freedoms and responsibilities that it provides. what about anybody's freedom to express their culture?? That's just one example It's a badly thought through document and yet, only people who wish to persecute others want to sign it imo!!

It's not my fault people on this thread want to persecute others to make up for their miserable lives. @MissFlight-q8f It's not aggressive, Tony Blair used to start a sentence with 'Look'. If you dislike what's happening in the UK, leave. Lots of other people leave so you wouldn't be the only one. lots of British immigrants live abroad. I'd love to leave but I can't so I have to endure it but I don't complain about it because complaining won't get me anywhere.

@MissFlight-q8f I'm not a Labour lover, in fact I do not vote! So you're misguided to mention Blair, and i only say for people to leave cos there's no point in whinging and moaning! That's all I hear from people, moan and moan and moan even more! Very sad indeed!! British people typically are miserable!!

@MissFlight-q8f If you think using the word Look at the start of a sentence is aggressive I think you have perceptual problems. In my view the word Look at the start of a sentence is used to reinforce something because the information conveyed to the other person isn't sinking in for whatever reason!
