  1. They're not going to abolish the HoL, they're only wanting to change the way Lords are selected, so instead of being given a life peerage, they'll be elected by the MP's. No real change imo.

  2. You will never be able to elect the Lords, that's down to members of His Majesty's inner circle and not members of the public. The only people the public can (s)elect are commoners 👍

  4. @djbogz1921  so you think plebs should choose who is a lord ?? You do realise the majority of people who vote are not normal in the sense they cannot make good informed judgements/decisions!! They do a bad enough job electing MP's don't they?

  5. @djbogz1921  The majority of people in the UK are not competent to make a decision who sits in the HoL. It's for the same reason the people of the UK do not elect their Head of State 👍
