  1. Charles has the authority in the UK, not the people. In order for the people to have authority they need to either protest at Charles to change things or get rid of the Crown altogether.

  2. The people gave away their sovereignty to the Monarch who does have the authority over the people to govern them, according to some mystical, imaginary being called God!! So the people can never have authority under the current regime 👍
