I'm with Trump on this one. There's no reason why Zelensky can't call for a ceasefire and hold elections, afterall he's not an elected President to engage in serious negotiations about the future of the country. If he's got approval ratings of 57% then there's nothing to fear in him holding elections. Let's hope he allows other candidates to stand.

@ Why should he do that when Zelensky has passed a law forbidding anyone to negotiate with Russia? Furthermore Zelensky is the last person Putin trusts after what his administration has done to ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Russia has the upper hand in the conflict as each day passes they take more land so any negotiations has to accept this fact. Zelensky's Presidential term ended in May 2024. Elections were held during the American civil war and during WWII so there's no reason why Zelensky can't hold elections. Just accept Zelensky has nothing to bring to the table.
