If I lived in Scotland and there was a vote on Independence, I would actually vote for the first time in my life. Voting is only worthwhile when's there's clearly something that brings about real change!!! Trouble is there's nothing worth voting for in England and nobody is worth voting for!!

Voting never matters because voting doesn't change anything!! Politicians say the same things every selection, better policing, better healthcare, better public services etc etc. Yet on the ground nothing much changes for the man/woman on the street!! All one does when one votes is help a person become an employee for Her Majesty's Government!!!

@DavidMoxham957 cheers David for your opinion but I've heard that so many times it means nothing to me, because in my opinion, by voting you are having your say; you are taking an active part in the political system of the UK and therefore have no right to moan at all! You are happy with it! I on the other hand, by not voting have not expressed myself and so have every right to complain about the state of the political system!

@DavidMoxham957 quote - But if you continue to not vote, in a way, you are voting because you are happy for things to stay the way they are...you have chosen to maintain the status quo! wrong interpretation I'm unhappyy with the way things are - i think the entire system including the monarchy, politics, education, policing, government etc needs changing! so are you saying I can change all of those areas and more through voting?

@ADifferentBias Voting is a joke!! If voting actually changed anything it would become illegal!! PR will never happen in the UK because the Monarch, the Lords and the MP's are all happy with the FPTP system!! Nothing changes in this country because the rulers like things the way they are!!
