Labour are tired. Starmer lacks character - he's walking dead. Labour need to rebrand their party in 21st century politics in order to make any substantial gains.

Lots of people talk of PR but no politician talks of it, so I guess nothing will get done especially when Queen Liz doesn't promote it.

@K.S.D.AUTOMOTIVE But the Monarchy never speaks of it. It's her Government and the politicians can only do so much within their remit. PR isn't one of them!!!

@CMI2017 the Queen is not a mouthpiece for a govt. It's HER Government. The HM isn't in front of the word Government for nothing. We live under Monarchial rule in the UK, through the institution of Parliament because all the Lords and MP's work for the Monarch, not the electorate. The Monarch doesn't get involved in the dirty work of politics. She doesn't need to but a bill cannot become law without her signature!! She can even refuse an elected Prime Minister to take up office if she doesn't like them!!

@CMI2017 quote - You don't know the constitution nor the extent of royal prerogative. what constitution? The only time we had a constitution was during the time when Cromwell was Lord Protectorate! And with regard to Royal perogative (if they wish to exercise it), the Monarch has the lawful power to select his or her own PM! Your comment clearly shows you are misinformed!
