  1. Phil - you've been sucked into the Western propaganda on Russia/Ukraine conflict. The West staged a coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014. This led to the overthrowing of an elected leader and the subsequent persecution and killing of Russian speakers in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Govt wants to erase everything Russian in the country, the history, language and religion. When Ukraine became independent they agreed to be neutral. Russia had to intervene to protect Russian speakers living in Ukraine. And remember under the UN Charter people living in Donbas and other areas of Ukraine have the right to self-determination; if they want to be Russian they can.
