  4. People of retirement age today are guaranteed no less than £201.05 for a single person. £306.85 for people who are married or living together. For people receiving these amounts any full help for rent or council tax is in addition to these sums. They'll also get free prescriptions, free eyes test, free dental treatment if their income is low enough. Winter Fuel payments on top of all this too. Could you live on £201.05 every week plus all the perks knowing full well you won't be as active as you are now? I could!!! Imo pensioners get loads of money!!  @gazza595
