  2. Imo Charles was advised not to attend because it's not the kind of event a Monarch would attend. Hence the reason Charles could have ordered Sunak to attend in his place.

How can Sunak order the King not to attend showing he's the boss, when Sunak swears an Oath of Allegiance to Charles? Nobody orders the King around. Members of the Privy Council and the PM only advise the King. The King is the highest seat of authority in the land. Sunak and every other PM has to get the Monarch's permission to form a Government and he even 'kissed his hand' in order to do so, to show his allegiance to Charles. Oh doesn't the PM have to attend weekly meetings with Charles too and you and I don't get to know what they talk about. Next May when Charles has his coronation, look out for what Charles agrees to do because no other person in the land swears these words, not Sunak, not Truss not even Starmer or Blair. Yes you've got it, Charles agrees to GOVERN the people of the UK, NI, overseas territories etc in the eyes of the Lord. You really don't want to accept that you live under Monarchial rule via Charles' Constitutional Parliament!!! Btw, do you know what the 'HM' stands for in front of the words Government, Armed Forces, Revenue and Customs, Land Registry, Prisons Service, Treasury etc? I'll give you a clue, those 'businesses' don't belong to you or me, Sunak or Starmer!!

  5.  @ianrogerburton1670  i don't know! why don't you ask him? Remember the PM (Rishi) is a privy council member and all members of the privy council can only ADVISE the Monarch what to do. Ultimately, the decision is his. The King has a lot to weigh up when making any decision as King eg how many people will he piss off, the practicalities and correctness of his decisions etc. In a guardian article dated 28th Oct Therese Coffey said it was up to the king to decide whether or not to attend. This is true! Either way, whichever way you look at it the people of the UK, esp those in government are probably considered a joke so any rep of UK who attends won't be taken seriously anyway!

Although I dislike entering into conjecture, it's possible charles could have been advised not to attend for his own safety - egypt is predominantly muslim and muslims might dislike the british crown!! Whatever way you look at it - the people of this country have had a monarch for hundreds of years and nothing has changed with regard to its societal structure - the monarch at the top and the poor at the bottom and you and I live in a hierarchy to the point that everyone is a slave to The Crown!! YOU like me are subjected to Crown rule!
