We don't pay their wages. Thinking we pay their wages is a misconception. Once you give your money away it is no longer your money. Therefore MP's receive the Government's money. MP's have no obligation to receive money from you.

@lloydbelle3406 tks for replying lloyd but you don't mention money in your reply - sure the people pay taxes to the government to help fund the government and in return the government provide services. But the issue here is that the government uses its own money to pay for the services we use. If I give you £1000 for painting my walls the money I HAD becomes yours to do as you please. You can blow it on drugs, a trip to the seaside, buy a meal at a restaurant etc. In fact the money has to be YOUR money because I can't tell you how to spend YOUR money? I've only asked you to paint my walls. This applies to tax payments anybody makes to the government. Once you give the money at your disposal to the government in the form of tax payments the money becomes THEIR money and no longer is yours to dispose of. If you can't get your head around that, then your clearly up your own a**e!

@johnsshed995 if it's PAYE one cannot stop paying taxes because an employer pays it from source!!! Laws are in place for His Majesty's Revenue & Customs to recover taxes and there are penalties, even imprisonment for non-payment. Not everyone wants to default because paying taxes contribute towards the services (whether good or bad) the Government provides to its people. Promote all the free man of the land BS you like it still won't change any of the above!!! If you think the free man of the land BS holds up, print your own money and spend that in this society🤣🤣🤣

@johnsshed995 I haven't contradicted myself whatsoever. The consent is implied in the liability.By working and paying PAYE one gives consent. If one does not consent don't do PAYE. As far as I am concerned it is an assumed consent, like it is assumed that we all give consent to be ruled by a Monarch, when in fact nobody is given a vote or asked whether they want to be ruled by a Monarch.
