@philc1773 Parliament has been operating for hundreds of years, so nothing much has changed since then - they're always taking money from the pot. It's all one big club and you and I ain't in it!! As for the democracy, MP's, Lords and councillors up and down the country vote on matters relating to the business of UK plc which is headed by Charles. It's all one big club and you, me and everyone else on this thread ain't in it!!!

Reclaim what? It's no different to Reform party, what do they intend to reform when the MP's all swear an oath of allegiance to Charles!!! Oh the MP's are going to swear an oath of allegiance to the people!! Hahahahaha!!! Nothing will be reclaimed because nothing is lost and nothing will be reformed because Charles is happy with the way things are!!!

There is democracy in the House of Commons and in Council chambers up and down the country because they all get to vote on matters. To say the Tories and Labour are no longer democratic is absolutely mad!! Oh but you're view isn't surprising because most people in the UK are insane!!

@philc1773 Democracy doesn't directly involve the people. People only select who to work for HIs Majesty's Government. It's been that way for hundreds of years. Once that person is selected to work for His Majesty's Government s/he swears an oath of allegiance to Charles and not the people. Having the whip removed from Andrew Bridgend does not mean democracy no longer exists because the Tories, Labour, SNP and all the others in Parliament still continue to vote on UK plc business. It's one big club and you and I aren't in it.

@zipperdeedooha the monarch swears an oath to the people?? Yeah the Monarch swears an oath to GOVERN the people - it's called the coronation oath. The UK Monarch is the only European monarch to swear a coronation oath meaning all other European Monarch's are merely ceremonial. The UK Monarch is the only person who lawfully governs the people via his/her Parliament to which the Monarch is head!

Reform what? Reform the Lords so they are voted in by MP's instead of being given life peerages? Hahahaha!!! If reforming anything would benefit the people the reform itself would be banned!!
