  1. So? Doesn't mean she killed them. Have you kept something during your working career for sentimental value? She could not have been thinking straight whilst she was pointing out failings that weren't being addressed, babies were dying, anyone in her posiiton would have felt guilty but for the humane reasons.

  2.  @GazBeasley  She could easily have written that because she may have accepted she was party to the poor practice that went on in the ward. She didn't intentionally kill the babies. She was only doing her job. It's clear there were poor practices that went on in that ward.

  4. the UK does have a democratic process - it's called VOTING! The people vote in elections, government members vote, council members vote!! That's what democracy is all about!! It's not about the people having the power and the politicians doing what the people want! It's just about voting!

Furthermore imo a younger parent can do much more for their child than an older parent simply because they are more active. I mean can you imagine Bernie Ecclestone at the age of 94 playing football with his youngest son? Do you think it fair on the child that he only has vague memories of his father?

  22. a lot of people just don't get it - it seems lots of TV personalities get paid loadsa money - Farage 600K plus MP salary and other income, John Mair didn't reveal his salary at TalkTV and yet people only focus on BBC personalities!! It's ludicrous. I get the feeling people are just anti BBC but whether the BBC is liked or hated, it's got to have a guaranteed income and being guaranteed is something subscriptions cannot offer! This is why the BBC's current income is protected in law via the TV License!

  25.  @johnneville403  it's not a political decision - it's a monetary decision to fund the order of the Monarch. The monarch sets out what services THEY want in their country by way of Royal Charter. It's the reason why we have libraries, swimming pools/leisure centres, provision for homeless people etc etc. All because of Royal Charter! With regard to TV services a Royal Charter is in place to ensure the existence of a national TV broadcasting & educational service. In my opinion, the duty of the government is to ensure the BBC upholds its committment to the Royal Charter and the BBC cannot do that without MONEY! So it's not a question of renewing the Charter, it's a question of paying for the Charter! Imo BBC funding will be levied through an additional Council Tax precept! The license fee will be incorporated with Council Tax! Remember this country is not that great for if it was the BBC would be a free service!!

Sharia law does not deal with criminal law and will not deal with criminal law in the UK. Sharia law only applies to Muslims and Islam not to Christianity.

The East India Company banned some Hindu practices like sati and thuggee, which they found particularly abhorrent, and began to allow Hindu widows to remarry in 1856. Governor-General Dalhousie had begun to allow Christian converts to inherit ancestral property starting in 1850. The Police are all trained in de-escalating situations but the Police clearly couldn't cope in this situation. Just face it, if the police officer was kicking an unarmed and helpless white man on the ground you'd be up in arms but no, because it's a Muslim you love Police violence!! Fckn crazy!!!

You don't vote for the Parliament. You don't vote which Lords attend Parliament. You only vote to select which commoner works for the King's Parliament. The country is not yours. Show me where it is written the country is yours? You can't show me anything that states such a thing. Even your birth certificate is copyrighted by the Crown.   49. How can the Police police the impossible? They receive a complaint and they have to act on it. Obviously Police Scotland will have to filter out the genuine complaints opposed to the fake ones. Irrespective a Scottish citizen has a right to complain against any hate that they are exposed to, even if it comes from England!!

The asylum seekers come to UK because they WANT to seek asylum in the UK. The migrants are in tents in France because they're not settled - they have no intention of claiming asylum in france!!
