@ipohtennischannel5482 Sure, they were selected by voters, but in order to enter the house to take up their positions they ALL swear an allegiance to the Crown and the Monarch! So now they're MP's their allegiance is to the Monarch and not to the people who voted for them! I mean, why do you not know this? Every MP swears an affirmation to the Monarch so their loyalties are not to the people! You should know this stuff, it's pretty basic knowledge too!

@jt5765 the UK/Britrish Crown is like a business with the chairperson being the Monarch and the PM is the chief exec. Of course the armed service personnel swear allegiance to the king/queen and heirs and successors but the Crown in no way refers to the Government because the governemt is officially called His or Her Majesty's Government!! The British people are governed by the Monarch via Parliament - it really is that simple!
