Letby clearly could not have had a fair trial if the defence never produced expert witnesses to support her. Her tril was severely one-sided towards the prosecution. Imo no 'expert' came forward for the defence because they didn't want to get hassle from the establishment/BMA, the authorities and lose their job. Now it seems Letby has got international experts willing to help her.

So? Doesn't mean she killed them. Have you kept something during your working career for sentimental value? She could not have been thinking straight whilst she was pointing out failings that weren't being addressed, babies were dying, anyone in her posiiton would have felt guilty but for the humane reasons.

@GazBeasley She could easily have written that because she may have accepted she was party to the poor practice that went on in the ward. She didn't intentionally kill the babies. She was only doing her job. It's clear there were poor practices that went on in that ward.

@alishap3131 Absolute rubbish, she was only found guilty on circumstantial evidence which cannot be a safe conviction. The law doesn't take into account how parents feel. Sorry you feel that way 👍

@stellar52 Oh ok, so you don't want to know about the serious medical errors that were not raised? One example was that a baby was infected with a particular bacteria and it was flagged to the doctors but they never understood it so they never treated the baby. There are examples that are linked to EVERY death. I guess you're the type of person who'd say the sub postmasters were all on the fiddle and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Horizon IT system 🤣🤣🤣

@GazBeasley if you were up for 7 baby murders you wouldn't think straight at all esp if you knew you was not guilty!!
