  1. Hahaha!! And you thought we left the EU!!!! NI remains part of the EU single market and now GB is still retaining EU laws. Oh just think, we might be able to do away with all those different types of usb charger and just have the one, like they'll have in the EU 👍

  5.  @rockerjim8045  I'd disagree, the ECJ is the final arbiter for matters within the EU. For any international trade agreements the WTO is the final arbiter.

  6. ​ @peterc.1618  Imo the ECJ is the final arbiter with matters relating to within the EU. NI remains in the EU single market and thus the ECJ is the final arbiter on matters relating to trade within NI and the rest of the EU single market. The ECJ is not interested in trade disputes between NI and GB because it's out of their jurisdiction. Trade disputes between NI and GB fall within the British courts to sort out.

  9. In 2016, the people were only asked if they wanted UK to leave the EU. There was no question of how the UK would leave, whether in full or in part. You should know by now that things aren't black and white in politics!!

  11.  @vincentmckenna1755  That's why I don't bother voting - it's all just a waste of time. Now if someone wants to start a protest march, protesting against the unfair distribution of wealth in the UK then I would join it. But people just want to aim their frustrations at asylum seekers or the Tories for example so I've got no time for any of it!!!
