  1. the vote in 2016 was 52% leave 48% remain - so to respect democracy a hard Brexit was out of the question. A soft Brexit would have respected the votes from all of those who voted. So now common sense has prevailed the hardliners are not getting things their way and tks very much Richard Tice for expressing your opinions on the matter!! Remember democracy is about respecting everybody's vote not just the people who's votes counted for more! What makes the situation even worse for hardline Brexiteers is that the NI deal wasn't even voted on in the Commons nor the Lords. The Windsor Agreement was ratified by the King via royal prerogative and now everybody has to go with it!! I'm so glad the Monarch stepped in at Rishi's request to sort out the mess that was called the NI Protocol! 😁😁😁
