hi Tony - the British government have no obligation to do what the people want, whatever gave you that idea??? Life in the UK has never been like that

@tonysheerness2427 tony i know where you're coming from - people are generally dissatisfied with being governed in the way they are. But you're overlooking the fact people who govern are NO different to the people who want to govern!! They're all the same and that's why things will remain the same. You'll always have your haves and have nots!! What makes matters worse for people in the UK is that they're always bickering and fighting amongst themselves. That has clearly been illustrated with Brexit and leaving with what kind of deal. It's why the monarchy has sustained itself in the UK for so long because the people in it can't get on with one another!!
