  1. The Tory Party can't ditch the licence fee because the BBC Royal Charter isn't up for renewal until 2027. After then they'll get rid of the licence fee but put a precept in the Council Tax so they're guaranteed an income 👍

  3. The BBC exists because of Royal Charter and has to be funded. The people fund it whether they like it or not so I reckon it'll be paid via Council Tax like it is in France from 2027/8.

  4. I disagree, GB News is a far right news outlet and doesn't cater for the British who aren't far right. Maybe if GB News had other presenters with other political views then maybe it could attaract more of the population. Until then I just see it as a rogue news outlet.
