there is no such thing as a safe country in the UN Refugee Convention. People like you clearly want to re -write the rules but the truth is YOU CAN'T! The UK is a contracting state in that convention which means anybody facing persecution can come to the UK to claim asylum!

The British people and the country like other countries have benefitted at the expense of other peoples and countries!! Look at Kenco coffee, a British brand benefitting from the produce of a black African country!! Just demonstrates how selfish Brits truly are and no wonder why the guy interviewed in the video doesn't care about helping other people only himself!!

Errr but they only in France because they want to claim asylum in UK and they likely originated from a country that was going to persecute them!! How else would you get to UK if not THROUGH France??

The people have originated from a country where they lived and felt persecuted. They want to come to UK and if you look on a map, you have to go through France to get to UK!! Try looking at a map sometime!!

@ remember these people are not french - a lot of them speak english and prob originate from countries like afghanistan, iraq, places where the UK has meddled in their affairs! I guess a lot of them come here cos they've adopted british culture eg they are christians!!

@pumbar the biggest problem you have is that because you dislike asylum seekers you consider all of their movements illegal! The truth is you need to actually READ the 1951 UN Refugee convention to realise their movements are not illegal!! So c'mon, get real and stop embarrassing yourself!!

Well I'm sorry I'm of the opinion Britain won't get great again because there's too many greedy people living in the country and they're making it worse for everybody else! The current way is unsustainable because greedy people take money out of the system so there is less for others!
