In my view, a Royal Prerogative is an example of the Monarch exercising their absolute authority!!

If one goes against an oath in court to tell the truth one can be charged with perjury. MP's and Lords all swear an oath of allegiance to the Monarch. If they fail to uphold their allegiance they can be prosecuted. Police officers, members of the armed services all take oaths of allegiance to the Monarch. They all enter into a contract to preserve the Monarchy. If they fail to do that they can be punished according to the law. So the Monarch enters into a verbal contract with God (represented by the Archbishop of Canterbury) by swearing the Coronation Oath to Govern the people of the UK, NI etc. What bit of this don't you understand? Just admit we all live under Monarchial rule in the UK.

There will always be the rich and there will always be the poor, people will always pay taxes and some people will always have their money in tax havens, there will always be people who vote and there will always be people who don't, there will always be MP's who say one thing but do the opposite, there will always be MP's who fiddle and claim lots in expenses, there will always be companies making huge profits, the bins will always be collected every week, the Council will always take money from you to pay for the wide range of services that you don't receive, there will always be people smiling on TV but few smiles in the High Street, there will always be loneliness and isolation in old age for millions of people. The list can go on and on but why do you vote for this kind of depressing life time and time again?

They will then add £40 onto that person's account for the following 5 years to reclaim the money. It's only the person who's got the account who's liable to pay. The Government aren't even giving out any money!!! I cannot understand how you are lawfully liable to pay for gas and electric when your name is NOT on the bill!!!

Some parts of the Magna Carta have been translated into legislation however the Magna Carta was essentially an agreement between the King and his "Lords" at the time. The Magna Carta had nothing to do with the freedoms of the people. As far am I'm concerned the king will swear an oath on 6th may to govern the people of the UK! He will achieve this through his Parliament of which he is head. The King (as shown in the latest NI Protocol deal) can exert his influence over parliament and has the prerogative to do so! only uninformed fools think the monarch of the UK NI and the Commonwealth is ceremonial and has no power!

Only 52% of Brits voted to leave the EU in 2016. In 1930's Germany, HItler had support from the majority of the German people to wage war. There is no comparison whatsoever between 1930's Germany and current day Britain. You just think the Tories are facists. What you fail to realise is that if the Tories were facists, why haven't they stopped the boats from crossing the Channel??? Why has Sunak asked the authorities to speed up asylum applications? When you can answer those questions you might realise the Tories can't do that much!!

In my opinion living in the UK has always been like living in 1930's Germany or even China and Russia. The only difference is the degree of control exerted on the people by the state. Because of the press and TV you're misled into thinking you have certain freedoms in this country but they are the same freedoms elsewhere in China, Russia and America. Remember every political party say the same thing at every election times - "it's better policing we want" even though all the people really get are a police force with better equipment, newer vehicles, new buildings to operate from and bigger pay packets etc! The crime unfortunately still persists! "It's better healthcare we want" people might say at election times even though all the people really get are new hospital equipment, newly built hospitals, new medicines etc but the ill health still persists! So an older person would say they've paid their taxes during their working lifetime and why should they have to get a loan to pay for their healthcare as you suggest? It would be reasaonable then as a start to extend the NI contributions an older person makes from state retirement age. 👍

For example council run leisure services are provided by companies and these companies have councillors on the board. These councillors receive incomes as well as their councillor allowances. Ringway is another example running Manchester airport where councillors in the area are on the Board and these people earn incomes for being on the board. Nationally run services are no different. It's all one big gravy train!!!

I totally agree with the wiki entry in that the British Constitution is not written down anywhere unlike the US Constitution - everybody in the US is aware of their freedoms and rights because they're all written down for everybody to read! As I've mentioned before, the UK Constitution is not written but is tied up in the UK's customs, traditions, laws, the Monarch and Parliament. Therefore nobody can ever truly come to know what the constitution actually is and it seems ludicrous for anybody to start a political party called the constitution party unless such affiliates WANT a written consitution in place like in the states! I cannot see this happening. So in order to sift through what is right one only need to look at things currently and on 6th may 2023, charles will swear an oath during his coronation to GOVERN the people of the UK, NI etc. He will have the lawful duty to override government, parliament and other organisations!
