  1. Whitney probably said "Merry Christmas" out of habit. In my country, that is still an acceptable greeting. In the US, it seems that "Happy Holidays" is more acceptable because it is inclusive. But it made me cringe to hear that an intern reported Whitney to HR just because he/she was offended by something that isn't meant to be offensive. Is this really the direction we want the world to go?
