  1. I was promoted to Team Leader at a marketing company in my 30s & was essentially working two jobs but was getting paid one salary. I burned out at the age of 36 & dropped out of the workforce for a total of 5 years. In that time, I was confined to a psych ward in a hospital due to some serious mental health issues that I had developed, including PTSD, because of the bad work environment & exploitative business practices.
