  1. Our largest power station now burns wood shipped from North America. AND it is in the process of building huge solar farms in the north of England. We don’t get much sun up here. Oh by the way it happens to be sat on top of the largest coal field in Western Europe. FYI coal is energy dense and wood isn’t.

  2. He told us he was going to speed up THE plan! So we are now paying again to be ruled over by the EU with absolutely no powers of our own.

  3.  @bangdobrich  exactly. And we have to ship and burn a lot more wood than coal to generate the same amount of power. It is not green at all.
