  1. Its all feel good and lining the pockets of certain people. So in a social economic sense its a scam, even if there is a nugget of truth to humans influencing the climate. And indeed the biggest growth of population and energy consumption (and pollution) will take place outside the western nations. Will the rest of the world be able to clean up as we did these last decades...for the most part, not a chance in hell. Whatever we do, is insignificant and only hurts our own people, especially those worst off. Its therefore pure evil!

  2. Worse still is that the real life-cycle costs of switching to alternative energy is hidden behind taxes/subsidies and unequal application of regulation. Solar-, wind- and battery tech currently relies heavily on rare and/or heavily polluting metals. Its just not ready yet for a big switch. Forcefully trying to make the switch quicker just create problems and inefficiency, not to mention a corrupt and depending industry for decades to come. Total cost, insane, could be the wealth of an entire future generation or two. For what, to ease the minds of the generation that was the most wasteful in human history? Its madness, I tell you! I love developments in new tech and wonders as much as any tech geek, but its just not time yet.

  4. Capitalism has been hijacked by a mixture of socialism, religion and corruption...which in their core form are all a side of the same thing. One of the major reasons of all this corruption is democracy. Its forcing people that do not know each other to agree on some representatives. No voter ever really gets to engage with any of those representatives and thus its just another form of a small elite inner circle that represents insider power games and corruption. You are either inside this game and profit or outside the game without connection and paying the bills. The law is also an issue, copyright and patents...horrible constructs that are used as swords to break down the idea behind capitalism. Private property and competition so improvements are made and can spread to benefit everyone. Capitalism is the only true workable form of democracy and it does not even require voting or representatives.

  7. I don't care about the carbon footprint...as that is a swindle to separate fools and their money + freedoms anyway. True pollution , like in toxicity, is what matters. Come back with a video that focuses on that and its a lot more interesting as not running on a false premise. Electric is great tho, that is not the point, but it should be introduced trough normal economic incentives instead of artificial incentives and draconian freedom steaming policies.

  11. Energy taxation for electricity consumed in homes is extremely heavy in Europe...industry however pays next to none (even when industry consumes more of everything). This entrenched way of fleecing the population is not going away any time soon...expect the charging at home to face a steep uphill battle. Industry will try to stay relevant and lobby for even more of this...with politicians selling it as being green policy...you know...with as excuse "punish the polluters" and all that! Green policy is the modern form of thought totalitarianism and slavery...there is no denying this without lying.

  14. Always nice to know you destroyed a little piece of China and Afrika to feel environmentally superior. And the best part, you get to do it all over again when you replace your then outdated/damaged equipment in a few years. Nothing beats that fuzzy feeling than killing the environment and be worshiped for it as if you are a saint. And with some luck some poor African kid will earn an egg for a day, recycling unhealthy metals on a trash heap that you helped produce. Good day.

  15. It is not just the production of energy that counts, but also the mining, refining and other chemical processing to make the product and at the end of its life there is disposal/recycling. In that sense, solar is not as clean as people think is it. The time you own it to produce energy is obviously not the time the pollution happens...duh. And its not just the panel as you need batteries, power regulators, both with limited lifespans. When it is all totaled, its dirty. There are many ideas and technologies in the works to make some of these issues go away, but until one materializes, its a solution looking for a problem. Conventional energy relies mostly on low-tech highly available resources and a very optimized process. This really cannot be said with a straight face about the state of current alternatives that need rare metals from other parts of the earth. As for saving money, well in the USA fuel is dirt cheap compared to Europe, you will never save a Tesla car worth in fuel. Any saving you will see is due to others subsidizing you at the point of a gun.

  21. I think its a bad argument to use votes of people that only get funded/paid if they follow one particular strong political narrative. We seen it for decades with string theory as well, which was untouchable, despite very well educated opponents from the same sciences that had a hard time getting funding. The issue is politics, social warfare and the press have invaded science. In some science fields more than others, but its happening.
