  1.  @sealion1214  "Non-binding referendum = state-sponsored poll" That is the most adorable cute naivety I read today (and there is a lot of it out there). Any decently large normal poll paid by government would suffice in that case at a MUCH lower cost. So no, it definitely is not that! It's actually a way to give people the feeling they have something so say and are taken serious. Where in fact they have nothing to say, are ignored and even deliberately worked against! It's a scam and the political elites are laughing all the way to the bank for playing their role. They get paid to trick the populace into believing the fantasy of democracy is the real thing. Besides, it's their policies that lead to the housing crunch in the first place. Do you really think they care and are willing/able to solve it? Of course not, the just want more authoritarian power and will always do another round of promises and blame others. They will promise to fix all the problems they created, we just have to do as they dictate to us! This time it will be different than the last 50 times, honest!

  2.  @mochtegerndane7097  Except when it infringes on ones own rights of course, you cannot vote to remove votes from your opponent for example. And by the way, handing over sovereignty to an outside entity (the EU) is by definition treason, no way around that, punishable with death by execution. No matter how many people would vote yes, it should still not be valid if it's not an absolute 100%. The Dutch and France also said no, and look where we are now. It's all show and totally worthless if no-one is accountable for treason, the people will and are ignored. Thousands of politicians should have been killed and we would not have been in this mess! But we let these criminals rule us by playing by their ever changing rules that are then selectively enforced, paid for by our money. In a way the people get what they disserve for their lack of a spine. The time for mass murder to become a human virtue is nearly upon us. Sad, but o so true!
