  18.  @maasro  "I see you have a very peculiar definition for left. You seem to confuse it with authoritarian, which is in no way exclusively left-wing" Franco was fascism, which is a form of socialism, which is universally recognized as left. Again, centralization of power, totalitarian control. Also fascism and communism differ very little, especially from the position of a regular citizen. The former is also somewhat derived from the latter. Both are extreme forms of socialism. So it is no wonder the left gets associated with authoritarian politics. Even the softer forms, will always want to grow government and arrange society based on a simplistic narrative ("workers", specifically, teachers, nursers, police, firemen). They barely mention regular jobs when they talk, its like talking to a 6 year old about what they want to be when they grow up. "Parties that are censoring personal freedom of gender expression are by definition authoritarian (they are forbidding individuals freedoms of expression and dictating what the masses should keep and think)..." You are inverting the actual meaning of LGBTQ+ laws. These are NOT meant to protect fragile groups and shield them from "hate". They are meant to cause chaos and attack/frame enemies, and deny them normalcy. 20 years ago, there was no such thing as pronounce policing, I never seen any gay or lesbian demand I call them in any special way. They got all the rights and protections they needed, namely the same as everyone else. Sure it took them some protesting to be able to be able to marry by law, but they got that too and with broad support I might add! The vast majority of people just don't care if others are a little different and want to live the same. What people however do not like is not being left alone by obnoxious behaving people. This LGBTQ+ thing is also a recent phenomenon, maybe late 90s I saw the first glimpse in an article and that was just about not having to choose between male and female. Then nothing for at least a decade! Never met anyone that was "special" in that they were not having the same social norms as the rest. And all of a sudden there needs to be special protection and politicians push one draconian law after the other about it. People can be thrown in jail, their lives destroyed with brute force just by some feeling different in the afternoon. The "shield" acts like a social/economic wrecking ball. And that is exactly its intention by the extremists in power! And these laws take freedoms, assets and means of living away from ordinary well socialized people. It hands opportunists and activists the tools to just pretend and get their opponents destroyed by claiming hate crimes and all that. So you are very wrong on this issue, don't get fooled by any "friendly well meaning names" of these laws. They typically do or even explicitly intent the exact opposite! We live in Orwellian times! When extremism and totalitarianism are the trend such as is now, normal people are called extreme / "far opposite political direction".

  25.  @mormacil  People do things for money indeed, money talks. That is easily solvable for a government in the Netherlands, there is a lot of spending, this will be just a drip (if even that). Wilders never collapsed a government, it was actually another party, but they framed it on him. Politically expedient that was and with a press that does as it is told, few will get any wiser! You argued that the government would have to force the existing reactor to stay open. And talked about nationalization. How is that not thinking like an authoritarian? "I never said we couldn't physically install one in four years, I said we couldn't in practice because of red tape. Did you even read my comment? And it's not a matter of will because current paperwork doesn't extend to new reactors. Just because I have a permit to build a guest house in my backyard doesn't grand me the right to build several more. Permits tend to have very strictly defined limits. Like the maximum power production, number of reactors, allowance of cooling water, etc" And permits are handed out by governments! Using the existing site will avoid a lot of red-tape. The infrastructure is there, the grid is tuned for it too. Changes will be minor compared to building one somewhere else! Do not forget there were already plans for expansion in the past, and even a schedule for actually expanding. Meaning there was and is room for expansion, that is a hard fact. "Again you're showing quite an ignorance on how the world actually works. So I reiterate, do some research into the actual facts and stop creating wishful thinking that ignores all the genuine obstacles. Not because it makes me cool but because it would benefit you to have realistic goals when you vote. " Advice for yourself. I clearly put forward sensible argument, hard to dispute them as they are factual. All you can do is throw up sand at this point.
